• Masjid activity such as follows and favorites, so your home screen reflects what you care about.
• Location when you allow it — to show nearby masjids, prayer context, and directions. We use general location for discovery, not a history of every GPS point for analytics.
• Basic device and usage info (device type, app version, general usage) to fix problems and improve features in aggregate.
• Messages you send us, such as reports or feedback.

• Show prayer times, iqama, masjid profiles, announcements, and discovery.
• Sign you in and keep your account secure.
• Personalize what you see based on masjids you follow or favorite.
• Send notifications you turned on for important masjid announcements.
• Maintain, protect, and improve Hayya Salah.
• Meet legal requirements when the law requires it.

• We do not sell your personal information.
• We do not process payments in Hayya Salah today, and we do not collect payment card details on the app or public website.
• We do not show your private account details on public masjid pages.

We share information only when needed to run Hayya Salah:

• Google or Apple when you sign in with them.
• Hosting and technology partners who help us run the app and website, under confidentiality obligations.
• Public masjid information meant for everyone (names, addresses, prayer schedules, announcements).
• Authorities or others when the law requires it, to protect people’s safety, or when you ask us to.

We keep information while your account is active and as long as we need it to provide Hayya Salah, resolve issues, and meet legal obligations. When we no longer need data, we delete it or remove identifying details where we can.

• Turn location on or off in your device settings.
• Control notifications in the app or on your device.
• Ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, where the law allows.

Hayya Salah is not aimed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). If you think a child gave us data without proper consent, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards. No online system is perfectly secure, and we cannot promise absolute security.

We and our partners may process data in countries where we operate. By using Hayya Salah, you understand that your information may be stored or processed in those places.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version here and change the “Last updated” date. If you keep using Hayya Salah after an update, that means you accept the updated policy.
